Sybilla Technologies is a Polish space technology company that designs, builds, and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. We develop complete hardware and software systems for automated data acquisition, analysis, and sensor network scheduling. 

Our work supports Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST), Space Traffic Management (STM), astronomical research, education, and commercial observation services. 

About the Internship

Are you a university student interested in electronics, automation, robotics, optics, astronomy, or engineering? 

Would you like to gain hands-on experience working with real hardware, advanced optical systems, and technologies used in the space sector? 

Join Sybilla Technologies as an Electronic & Optical Systems Intern and work alongside experienced engineers and technicians on the assembly, maintenance, and testing of professional scientific equipment. 

This is a paid internship designed to provide practical industry experience while supporting your academic and professional development. 

Your Responibilities

During the internship, you will: 

  • Assist with assembly and integration of optical and electronic equipment.  
  • Support diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and servicing activities.  
  • Learn to install and test electrical wiring and electronic components.  
  • Participate in system integration and testing under engineer supervision.  
  • Work with technical documentation, electrical diagrams, and assembly procedures.  
  • Help maintain workshop tools, equipment, and consumable inventory.  
  • Participate in selected on-site installations and service visits when appropriate.  
  • Gain exposure to technologies used in astronomy, optics, automation, and space applications.  

Who Should Apply?

    • Related technical fields  
  • Basic understanding of electronics or electrical systems.  
  • Ability to read technical documentation (or willingness to learn).  
  • Interest in practical, hands-on engineering work.  
  • Motivation to learn and develop technical skills.  
  • Good organizational and teamwork abilities.  

Nice to Have

  • Experience with workshop tools and soldering.  
  • Interest in space technologies, astronomy, optics, or robotics.  

What We Offer

Paid Internship 

  • 3,500 PLN net per month (student internship contract).  
  • Minimum internship duration: 2 months

Referral Bonus for Lecturers 

University lecturers, professors, career office representatives, and academic departments who refer successful candidates are eligible for a referral bonus. 

The referral bonus will be paid when: 

  1. The referred student is accepted into the internship program.  
  1. The student successfully completes the first 2 months of paid internship 
  1. The student maintains satisfactory performance during the internship period.  

Referral Bonus: 350 PLN per successful student referral.
