PIAST Satellites Tracked Using Sybilla Technologies’ Optical SST Network

Recent activities within the #PIAST satellite constellation mission include a new series of tests observed from Earth. The presented image shows the PIAST spacecraft detected by the optical ground sensor infrastructure operated by Sybilla Technologies.

The PIAST mission focuses on the validation of advanced, domestically developed dual-use technologies, strengthening independent national capabilities in the space domain. High-accuracy tracking data and orbital assessments delivered by Sybilla Technologies play a key role in evaluating system behaviour in an operational orbital environment.

Sybilla Technologies operates one of the largest privately managed, globally distributed optical Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) sensor networks, coordinated and controlled from Europe, ensuring reliable access to consistent and high-quality observational data.

The observations were conducted as part of the Competitiveness Segment of ESA’s Space Safety Programme.
