Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process including RFI, RFQ, RFP, order placement, negotiations, confirmations, and claims.
  • Cooperate with customs agencies and oversee customs clearance processes for both import and export.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while actively sourcing new ones aligned with company values such as locality, quality, and sustainability.
  • Maintain and continuously develop supplier databases.
  • Coordinate closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials and components.
  • Verify that orders comply with operational needs and align with project budgets.
  • Collaborate with logistics to organize deliveries, monitor schedules, and promptly address any delays.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements to support cost efficiency.
  • Participate in cost optimization and supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Manage purchasing data using ERP or other procurement tools.
  • Book business travel for employees (hotels, flights, trains) in accordance with company travel policies and project requirements.
  • Communicate with employees to confirm travel itineraries, resolve booking issues, and ensure cost-effective travel arrangements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within a production or export-oriented environment.
  • Experience cooperating with customs agencies and handling export procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of import/export documentation such as pro forma invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience booking business travel (hotels, flights) and a basic understanding of corporate travel policies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems or other procurement tools.
  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 level, necessary for communication with international suppliers and arranging travel abroad.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.

Terms of employment

  • Employment will be delivered in a remote model (main office in Bydgoszcz, Poland).
  • Salary: 8,000–10,000 PLN gross (employment contract) depending on your experience and qualifications .
