About Sybilla Technologies

Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the public and defense sectors (e.g. ministries, agencies, ecosystem players).
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders (e.g. MoD, ESA, EDA, EC, NASA).
  • Influence client thinking to align upcoming tenders and partnerships with our capabilities.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with internal teams (proposal, delivery, legal).
  • Qualify tender opportunities and support the proposal team with contextual and strategic insights.
  • Prepare client-facing commercial proposals (non-tender), coordinating input from technical, legal, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations using both internal and external resources.
  • Share market insights with leadership and product teams to inform strategy and innovation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable sales forecasts.
  • Represent the company at trade events, conferences, and public-sector forums.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2G or B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record of working with public institutions, government agencies, or in regulated markets.
  • Solid understanding of public procurement processes and funding mechanisms (e.g. tenders, grants, RFPs).
  • Confident in leading business meetings, strategic sales conversations, and opportunity-shaping engagements.
  • Skilled in stakeholder mapping and influencing early-stage buying decisions.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools for pipeline management and sales forecasting.
  • Fluent in English (minimum C1 level in both spoken and written communication).
  • Self-driven, able to work independently, challenge assumptions, and uncover untapped opportunities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2G markets such as the UK, France, Western Europe, or the USA, particularly in sectors like space, defense, or government IT.
  • Existing relationships with key institutions such as ESA, NASA, EDA, or the European Commission are highly valued.
  • Background or familiarity with STEM disciplines (e.g. space, engineering, AI), especially when working with technical stakeholders or shaping complex solutions — though not required if offset by strong experience in public sector business development.

Terms of employment

  • Remote employment model (main office is in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka).
  • Ability to travel to remote sites (on a need basis) and to headquarters (once per quarter). 
  • Salary: 11,000–15,000 PLN gross (employment contract) or 88–120 PLN/hour (B2B), depending on experience and qualifications.
