Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Assembly, installation, and integration of optical and electronic equipment.  
  • Monitoring stock levels of tools and consumable materials.  
  • Supporting diagnostics, performing maintenance, and repair work.  
  • Participating in on-site service trips. 

Requirements

  • Experience in assembling and servicing electrical and electronic devices. 
  • Basic knowledge of automation, electronics, and electrical systems. 
  • Ability to install electrical wiring, electronic components, and basic industrial automation systems. 
  • Proficiency in using basic workshop tools (e.g. screwdriver, drill, riveter, grinder, soldering iron). 
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation. 
  • Secondary technical or vocational education. 
  • Valid SEP electrical qualification up to 1kV. 
  • Category B driving licence. 
  • Communicative English skills would be an asset. 

Nice to Have

  • Interest in space-related topics. 

Terms of employment

  • On-site work in Bydgoszcz and Zielonka (near Bydgoszcz).  
  • Employment contract.  
  • Gross salary: 6 000–7 000 PLN/month depending on experience.  
  • Flexible working hours.

  • “Telescopic Thursdays” – the opportunity to use our facilities for personal, hobbyist observations (clarification for remote use).
