Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Translating strategic vision and high-level requirements into detailed, prioritized tasks for the development team.  
  • Managing the Product Backlog (Defining, refining, and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value and customer needs).  
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders (business, and technical teams) to  clarify needs and provide feedback.  
  • Defining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.  
  • Ensuring development team alignment.  
  • Ensuring that each sprint delivers value and aligns with the broader product roadmap.  
  • Providing feedback and either accepting or rejecting features during sprint reviews.  
  • Aligning short-term goals (sprints) with the long-term roadmap.  

Requirements

  • Higher education (master’s degree).  
  • 3+ years’ experience in Agile product owner role, business analyst role, senior tester or in a similar role in product development.  
  • Proven track record of delivering results using Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).  
  • Proven track record of managing team’s backlog and leading efficient meetings, clear and concise notes from the meetings.  
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.  
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex customer’s needs and translating them into user stories, use cases and requirements for the technical teams.  
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Ability to write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.  
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret customer and market data.  
  • Very good command of the English language in writing and speech (candidate should be able to read and write technical documentation).  
  • Good communication skills.  

Terms of employment

  • Employment will be delivered in a remote or hybrid model (main office in Bydgoszcz, Poland).  
  • Ability to travel to remote sites (on a need basis) and to headquarters (once per quarter).  
  • Salary: 11000 – 14000 PLN/employment contract or 13000-17000 B2B depending on your experience and qualifications.The candidate will have a specialist assigned as mentor during initial weeks of employment.
