Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Building and maintaining services that enable seamless integration, interoperability, and efficient data flow across robotic sensor network.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the technology for controlling optical telescopes. 
  • Optimizing software for efficiently acquiring and analyzing observational data. 
  • Developing solutions for secure and efficient data management, including storage, quality monitoring, and processing pipelines.
  • Creating and improving advanced REST and event-driven APIs to facilitate automated M2M interactions and provide intuitive user-facing interfaces. 

Requirements

  • 6+ years of programming experience in C#.NET, developing commercial applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of the .NET platform, design and architectural patterns, and different approaches to architecture (monolith, modular monolith, microservices).
  • Good knowledge of docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration and hosting.
  • Experience with message queue systems (RabbitMQ in particular) and event-driven architecture.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and Entity Framework.
  • Professional approach to work with emphasis on independence, initiative, commitment and ownership.
  • Proficiency in English enabling effective communication and comprehension of technical documentation.

Nice to have

  • Higher education in computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields (STEM) 
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing automated data workflows and processing pipelines. 
  • Frontend development (Angular, ReactJS, Blazor) 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and optimize microservices. 
  • Strong understanding of statistics, numerical methods in mathematics, physics, or astrophysics.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Interest in Space-related topics

Terms of employment

  • Remote employment model (Bydgoszcz/Zielonka). 
  • Salary: 110 PLN – 140 PLN per hour on B2B contract, depending on your experience and qualifications 
  • The candidate will be offered compensation relative to his/her experience and skills.
