Software Tester

The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Assess code quality and functionality. 
  • Conduct testing in various environments to ensure reliability. 
  • Execute both manual and automated tests to validate software performance. 
  • Design and plan test cases, test environments, and testing strategies. 
  • Create detailed test scenarios and write test scripts. 
  • Perform performance, functional, and scalability testing to meet project requirements. 
  • Detect, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. 
  • Prepare comprehensive bug reports and present findings to the team. 
  • Ensure overall quality assurance across all stages of development. 
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions. 
  • Create and/or contribute to project documentation for clarity and continuity. 

Requirements

  • Passion for space and software. 
  • 3 years of experience in testing. 
  • Higher education (bachelor’s degree or higher). 
  • Knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies. 
  • The ability to create, conduct automated and manual tests. 
  • Professional approach to work, initiative, independence and commitment to quality. 
  • Very good knowledge of the English language at least at the level enabling communication and reading and writing of documentation. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in testing and/or programming in C#. 
  • Good knowledge of the .NET platform and Visual Studio. 
  • Agile methodology knowledge. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or similar environment. 

Terms of employment

  • Remote employment model (Bydgoszcz/Zielonka) – occasional visits.  
  • Salary: 7000 – 12000 PLN on employment contract or 8500 – 14500 on B2B contract, depending on your experience and qualifications 
  • The candidate will be offered compensation relative to his/her experience and skills.
