Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Sales and Marketing to lead our strategic marketing and business development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a strong sales and marketing team, defining and understanding global markets, and driving our internationalization strategy. 

Your Responibilities

  • Developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans for B2B and B2G markets. 
  • Driving EU market growth and spearheading global expansion into Anglo-Saxon and international markets. 
  • Closing strategic partnerships and high-value deals. 
  • Building and leading a global sales network while maintaining a high-quality CRM system. 
  • Managing the sales funnel and optimizing existing opportunities while fostering new relationships. 
  • Analyzing market trends and data to prioritize opportunities aligned with strategic goals. 
  • Informing product positioning, pricing, and market strategies through research insights. 
  • Leading internationalization efforts, navigating new market regulations and cultural dynamics. 
  • Establishing strong relationships with key customers, leaders, and partners. 
  • Driving business growth through partnerships and alliances. 
  • Building and mentoring a high-performing sales and marketing team. 
  • Collaborating with product teams to align offerings with market needs. 

Requirements

  • Passion for space.  
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B and B2G sales, strategic marketing and business development, preferably in the technology industry.  
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM, marketing, business administration, or a related field.  
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing relations.  
  • Excellent understanding of EU markets and international business.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.  
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), C1 level or higher.  
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Background in engineering.  
  • Experience with new markets and agnostic marketing.  
  • Experience with startup companies.  
  • Additional languages.  

Terms of employment

  • Employment will be delivered in a remote/hybrid model (main office in Bydgoszcz). 
  • Salary: 6000 – 8000 EUR on B2B contract, depending on country of residence, experience and qualifications. 
  • This position is subject to B2B contract. 
  • Full-time job. 
  • Flexible work time.
