Sybilla Technologies designs, builds, and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. We specialize in end-to-end systems and software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling across networks of sensors.  

Our work spans Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance & Tracking, Space Traffic Management, as well as stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations. We are looking for a Buyer and Travel Coordinator to help drive efficient procurement and supplier collaboration across the organization. Alongside sourcing and purchasing activities, you will coordinate business travel arrangements that support our growing international operations. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of goods and services in line with business needs, company policies, and budgets. 
  • Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers globally to ensure quality, cost, and service standards. 
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support performance and supply continuity. 
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, service levels, and delivery conditions. 
  • Analyze spend data and purchasing trends to support procurement decisions. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and forecast demand. 
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions when needed. 
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation and continuity plans. 
  • Maintain accurate supplier and procurement data in company systems. 
  • Coordinate the company’s business travel platform and support employees with travel arrangements, including tickets, accommodation, insurance, visas, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Good command of written and spoken English. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Experience working with contracts.

What we offer

  • Remote work model with occasional on-site meetings in Bydgoszcz. 
  • Compensation: PLN 8,000-9,500 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills.
