Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Support in management of operational projects to deliver data and analyses to the customers, the schedule, risk, budget and quality of projects. 
  • Participation in development and creation of project’s documentation and updates. 
  • Support in evaluation of potential projects and creating project’s proposals with technical experts. 
  • Coordinating the activities of internal team (Software Engineer, Observer, Data Analyst, Designer, Researcher, Platform Operator, depending on the project the composition may differ), as well as external teams (subcontractors), identifying the necessary resources and developing schedules to meet deadlines. 
  • Preparation of project’s progress reports and ongoing support of the project information management process. 
  • Setting priorities and managing time. 
  • Support to project managers, heads of units, participation in meetings 
  • Assisting in task management, status update, contact with internal/external customers 
  • Preparing minutes of the meetings, notes, tasks, action item lists; sending emails, invitations, reminders 
  • Diagnosing and solving project challenges, managing change. 
  • Cooperation with external companies and suppliers. 
  • Directly supporting the Software Engineering Team, Sensor Network Operations Team by sharing responsibility for achieving end results and collaborating on planning, budget management and procedures development; influencing resource planning. 
  • Conducting project presentations and trainings. 

Requirements

  • Experience in a Project Manager team member role, assistant or similar, ideally in the specialized IT, STEM sector. 
  • MSc degree. 
  • Fluent Polish and English in speech and writing (strong communications skills). 
  • Technical Writer skills. 
  • Proven ability to plan and execute implementation and operational projects 
  • Agile project management experience (or other PM metodology) 
  • Proactive work approach 

Nice to Have

  • Products life cycle understanding. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or similar environment. 
  • Familiarity or interest in astronomy / optical observations of the night sky

  • Remote employment model (main office in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka). 
  • The candidate will be offered compensation relative to his/her experience and skills.
