Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

Your Responibilities

  • Gather, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements for software solutions.
  • Translate business needs into clear system specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Suggest solutions and features based on system knowledge
  • Support developers and testers in understanding system specific requirements.
  • Create and maintain system diagrams, process flows, and structured documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, product, and engineering teams in solution design product roadmap etc
  • Support product discovery and early-stage analysis for new initiatives.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and inconsistencies early in the development lifecycle.
  • Improve system and business analysis domain by creating processes, deliverables and templates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in systems analysis or business analysis within software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to model systems using BPMN, UML, or similar notations.
  • Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation.

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge in space systems, geospatial platforms, or data analytics.
  • Technical background (e.g., former developer or QA).
  • Domain or astronomy as a hobby

Terms of employment

  • Remote-first model with occasional visits to our HQ in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka (once a quarter).
  • Salary: 100 – 130 PLN/hour (B2B) or 12,000 – 14,000 PLN gross/month, depending on your experience and qualifications.
