We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support our growing organization with high‑quality financial analysis, controlling, and reporting. In this role, you will work closely with business, project, and finance stakeholders, providing data‑driven insights that support decision‑making, performance monitoring, and compliance, including projects financed through Grants & Funds. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a technology‑driven company operating in the space sector, combining analytical rigor with a strong understanding of projects, systems, and processes.

Your Responibilities

  • Analyze financial data for projects, operations, and business units; calculate and validate costs, margins, and profitability 
  • Track budget execution, perform variance analysis, and monitor performance against budget and forecast 
  • Identify deviations, inconsistencies, and anomalies in financial data 
  • Prepare financial analyses (costs, margins, revenues, cash flow), including scenario and sensitivity analyses, to support business and management decisions 
  • Provide analytical input to post‑investment reviews and track implementation and results of financial recommendations 
  • Reconcile financial data across sources and validate inputs used in reports, models, and presentations 
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues in cooperation with data owners; maintain analytical frameworks and recurring analysis logic 
  • Apply Grants & Funds project principles in tracking and reporting systems in cooperation with Accounting and PMO; maintain master data and cross‑references 
  • Prepare management and project reports, analytical content for senior‑level presentations, and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery 
  • Prepare reports for external institutions and auditors; support due diligence and audit processes 
  • Control Grants & Funds project costs and ensure compliance with reporting requirements 
  • Use and maintain financial models, templates, and analytical tools; support testing of system changes affecting financial data 
  • Cooperate with Business Partners, Project Finance, and operational teams; prepare inputs for ERP and controlling systems 

Requirements

  • Experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related finance roles. 
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical reasoning. 
  • Very good command of Excel and financial analysis techniques. 
  • Ability to interpret data and draw fact‑based conclusions. 
  • Attention to detail and high data accuracy standards. 
  • Ability to work in a structured and process‑driven environment. 
  • Experience working with business, controlling, or project teams. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a project‑based or matrix organisation. 
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and controlling tools. 
  • Experience in technology, engineering, or fast‑growing organisations. 

Terms of employment

  • Remote work model (HQ in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka).   
  • Employment contract or B2B contract. 
  • Gross salary: 10,000–11,000 PLN (UoP) or 70,00–85,00 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience and skills.
