We are looking for a Project Finance Specialist to ensure effective financial controlling across advanced engineering and technology projects. The role focuses on project cost and margin management, financial analysis, and risk escalation, supporting informed decisionmaking in a complex, innovationdriven organization. 

Your Responibilities

  • Design and manage project cost allocation and margin models. 
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and margins on an ongoing basis. 
  • Analyze project financial data (costs, margins, cash flow) and support business decisions with clear recommendations. 
  • Present project financial results, communicate the financial impact of decisions to stakeholders, and escalate financial risks while supporting mitigation actions. 
  • Participate in postinvestment reviews and project performance evaluations. 
  • Develop project controlling tools and ensure data consistency across projects. 
  • Cooperate closely with operational teams, Sales, and the PMO. 

Requirements

  • Experience in project finance, project controlling, or investment finance. 
  • Strong knowledge of cost and margin models. 
  • Excellent analytical skills, including Excel and financial modelling. 
  • Ability to interpret data and present conclusions clearly. 
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and project teams. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, dynamic environment. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a project-based organisation (PMO)  
  • Knowledge of ERP tools and controlling systems  
  • Experience in a technology or engineering industry 

Terms of employment

  • Remote work model (HQ in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka).   
  • Employment contract or B2B contract. 
  • Gross salary: 10,000–11,000 PLN (UoP) or 70,00–85,00 PLN/h (B2B), depending on experience and skills. 
  • Work in a rapidly growing company within the prestigious Space industry.
