Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

About the role:

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Assistant to support compliance, governance, and documentation processes in a growing SpaceTech company. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you will help maintain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready documentation across GDPR/RODO, ESG, ISO 9001, corporate governance, and legal administration activities. 

Your Responibilities:

  • Maintain compliance, governance, and legal documentation to ensure records are accurate, complete, and audit ready. 
  • Administer GDPR/RODO documentation, registers, evidence repositories, and support data subject request processes.  
  • Coordinate ESG documentation and supporting data, ensuring that information is properly collected, maintained, and organized.  
  • Support ISO 9001 document control activities and help maintain compliance with established procedures.  
  • Manage corporate governance records, including board resolutions, powers of attorney, and related documentation.  
  • Maintain compliance registers and trackers, monitoring obligations, corrective actions, and key deadlines.  
  • Manage the registration, archiving, version control, and retention of legal and compliance documentation.  
  • Prepare governance and compliance reports and support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and evidence.

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Law, Administration, Compliance, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, governance, quality, administration, or documentation-focused role.  
  • Experience managing documentation, records, and administrative processes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Working knowledge of GDPR/RODO, ESG, and ISO 9001 requirements, including related documentation and record-keeping practices. 
  • Experience supporting compliance, governance, document control, or quality management processes. 
  • Business English proficiency (B1/B2 level). 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in regulated environments. 
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits. 
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, quality management systems, or reporting systems. 
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks. 
  • Experienced in the technology sector. 

Terms of employment

  • Hybrid work model with predominantly remote work and occasional visits in our offices (main office in Bydgoszcz, secondary in Zielonka near Bydgoszcz). 
  • Compensation: PLN 8,000 – 9,000 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills. 
  • Full‑time position with flexible working hours.
