Sybilla Technologies designs, builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.  

About the role:

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Specialist to support our growing organization by ensuring legal consistency, contract compliance, effective governance processes, and regulatory adherence across business operations. This is an opportunity to apply your legal expertise in a fast-growing space technology company developing advanced solutions for monitoring and understanding the space environment. 

Your Responibilities:

  • Review and support commercial contracts, NDAs, supplier, partner, and customer agreements. 
  • Identify contractual risks, recommend mitigation measures, and coordinate approvals and amendments. 
  • Maintain legal documentation of repositories and ensure corporate records are complete, accurate, and accessible. 
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of corporate documents and governance records. 
  • Assist in implementing compliance requirements and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures. 
  • Conduct compliance reviews of business activities and support governance and compliance audits. 
  • Provide first-level legal support to internal stakeholders and coordinate cooperation with external legal advisors. 
  • Monitor legal and regulatory risks, maintain legal risk registers, and escalate issues when appropriate. 
  • Support Board-related documentation, resolutions, powers of attorney, and governance processes across company entities. 

Requirements:

  • MA degree in Law. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or related role. 
  • Experience reviewing commercial contracts and supporting contract management processes. 
  • Experience working with corporate documentation and governance-related records. 
  • Knowledge of Contract Law and Commercial Law. 
  • Understanding of compliance processes and legal documentation management. 
  • Business English at B2 level or higher. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, reliability, discretion, and a process-oriented approach to work. 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the technology sector. 
  • Exposure to international contracts and cross-border cooperation. 
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations. 
  • Experience supporting corporate governance processes. 

Terms of employment

  • Hybrid work model with predominantly remote work and occasional visits in our offices (main office in Bydgoszcz, secondary in Zielonka near Bydgoszcz). 
  • Compensation: PLN 10,000 – 12,000 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills. 
  • Full‑time position with flexible working hours.
