We are looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to coordinate key financial processes across the organization, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness. This role focuses on end-to-end process ownership, stakeholder coordination, and the effective deployment of financial tools and procedures. The position requires a structured, process-driven approach combined with strong cross-functional collaboration and execution capability. 

Your Responibilities

  • Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, including timelines, deliverables, and communication. 
  • Coordination of audit preparation and execution, acting as the main contact for auditors. 
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of controlling and management reporting, including analysis and presentation. 
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and LRP cycle (Long Range Plan), including data preparation, consolidation, and analysis. 
  • Support business cases and tender evaluations, ensuring consistent KPI logic and performance tracking. 
  • Design and implement financial processes and procedures across budgeting, forecasting, and project controlling. 
  • Support project and grant finance activities, including cost allocation, margin tracking, and reporting 
  • Act as business owner for ERP and workflow tools (e.g. Webcon), including requirements, UAT, and adoption 
  • Identify automation opportunities and coordinate process improvement and implementation initiatives. 
  • Develop training materials, support stakeholder presentations, and ensure finance documentation is up to date. 

Requirements

  • Strong experience in finance process coordination, controlling or financial PMO role. 
  • Proven track record in coordinating month-end / year-end and audit cycles. 
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, LRP and business case processes. 
  • Experience in deploying ERP systems and workflow tools (Webcon or similar) – at least as business owner / coordinator. 
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel / financial models) and process design mindset. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to operate in a complex and dynamic environment, coordinating multiple parallel workstreams. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in project-based organizations (PMO environment). 
  • Experience in finance transformation or automation initiatives. 
  • Industry experience in technology, engineering, or space sector. 

Terms of employment

  • Remote employment model (HQ is in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka). 
  • Compensation: PLN 8,7k – 11,6k gross on employment contract depending on skills and experience.
